RayAracing has been reconditioning-resizing RC piston + sleeve sets .12 thru .46 Car Truck Buggy + Truggy along with many of the Smaller displacement Airplane + Hydro engine models since 2001. Ray even put a small series of basic resizing die sets (12-18, 20-21, and 23-32) together for others to do the pinching process themselves for their own clubs + near by racing friends. The original vision was not to monopolize or be secretive with this method (as others) and give those the option to resize using the most accurate tooling available the RC industry still to date. NOTE: Ray has been working on the his newest revision of resizing tooling since early 2010 and when its ready for release you will see the "Resizing Tooling" page up on the web site left column again.....Soon to be announced.

RayAracing soon after first resizing tools were developed 2001, also developed later in 2002 a reconditioning process improving surface finish conditions, ie "Fit and Finish" together generate the thorough sealing, provided by RayAracing. Ray has been in skilled trades 38 years started out a welder then soon after entered the machining trades as a machinist and then finally a tool + die maker 20 years alloy reconstruction with a firm understanding metallurgy and tooling design. In short, Ray has not found a way to "box" the knowledge + experience needed to recondition piston + sleeve sets, so others can effectively learn how to better resize. For now if you feel "just a pinch is not enough" you may send it to Ray..... for now. You may also send improperly resized sets for Ray to REWORK.
